I knew it from the start
So my arms are open wide
Your head is on my stomach
No…We’re not going to sleep
Here we are
On this 18th floor baclony…
We’re both flying away.
So much love was radiating on this day. It made you forget about the sweltering heat of Tracy, California during June. Amy and Marcus love each other, their families, their friends, and God.
I could see through the whole experience of getting to know them how much of a part God played in their life and it touched me. To hear their story of basically love at first sight, see tears in their eyes as they made their vows before God, and to see all the love and support coming from everyone was truly a blessing.
Apparently this wedding included Marcus marrying Amy as well as all of her bridesmaids. It was a packaged deal 😉 I hope you can handle them all! Hah.
Another part that I loved about Amy and Marcus’ wedding was Amy deciding to do a Mother / Daughter dance as well as a Father / Daughter dance. As someone that is incredibly close to my mother and considers her one of my best friends and a huge support system in my life… it was wonderful to see that relationship have its own small ceremony during the wedding day. Then to see them laugh, cry and hug while everyone danced around them… had me all mushy and gooey inside.
