It all started at a little coffee shop. Talks for hours. Laughs. Hugs. Years later it led them to this day.
It’s hard to name one thing that was my favorite part of Natanya and Simeon’s day. I figured this would be the case after their wonderful Sacramento coffee shop and Farmer’s Market engagement session a few months before. I could tell these were two were overflowing with love for each other, as well as exceptionally good taste.
From the DIY coffee table decor to Natanya’s simple but stunning Modcloth wedding gown, every last detail was absolutely charming. But aside from the details, the pure emotion of that day gave me so many opportunity to capture great photographs.
As a music fan, I loved how the soundtrack of the day. Such as Natanya and Simeon leaving their ceremony to “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, to then the couple dancing their first dance to “All of me” by John London with their voices spliced in talking about each other. Then to the most epic final dance ever which started as soon as “Don’t stop believin’” came on. What followed was some air guitar, fist pumping, and a spinning bride.
Simeon won best groom’s speech to his bride. Listing every reason why he found her beautiful and confessing his love to her in detail while teary eyes looked on and observed the love happening in front of them. These two truly knew how blessed they were to have each other in their lives.
Delicious food, adorable decor, hugs and love everywhere. What a glorious, happy day.
