As a working photographer, I sometimes forget one of the most important things to photograph : My own life. I spend so many hours lugging a camera around to document others… but forget to drag it around when enjoying the time with the people I love and care about. So I made it a goal during my camping trip on Memorial Day weekend at Lake Don Pedro to bring the camera and capture some frames throughout the trip. It was nice to disconnect from the social networks  and sit on a boat. Sleep on the ground. Drink some beer. Roast Marshmallows. Jump into a lake.  Was wonderful to spend the time with some of my closest friends, my family who came up for a day, and my dude Scott who cooked some mighty fine dinners during the trip.

Of course, any photos of yours truly was taken by others. Thanks to my momma,  Scott, and Benecia for snapping some!
